Die Ringeltaube (Columba palumbus) ist eine Vogel art aus der Familie der Tauben (Columbidae). Sie ist die größte Taubenart Mitteleuropas und besiedelt weite Teile der Paläarktis von Nordafrika, Portugal und Irland nach Osten bis Westsibirien und Kaschmir. Auffällige Merkmale sind die weißen Flügelbänder und der weiße Halsstreifen.
